Cleaning Up the C&O Canal National Park

The National Parks Conservation Association chose Perone Photography to shoot stills and video clips at its volunteer cleanup day at the C&O Canal National Park in Washington, DC in early June -- and what a great day it was! More than a hundred volunteers picked up trash, kayaked down the canal and retrieved bottles and hubcaps and old tires and canoed to (relatively) distant shores to clean up debris that careless boaters had tossed overboard and that had washed up on the river banks. The National Parks Conservation Association does great work - and is on a "Find Your Voice" campaign to clean up every national park in the country. We were glad to be of help!
